One serving of shrimp cocktail includes about six large shrimp, which is about 1 oz. or 33g, 3 tbsp. of commercially prepared seafood cocktail sauce and 1 tbsp. of lemon juice. This yields a 97g serving size and provides about 109 calories, 0.4g of fat, no saturated fat, 7.8g of protein, 18.4g of carbohydrates, 16.6g of sugar, 64mg of cholesterol and 759mg of sodium. Shrimp cocktail is a source of high-quality protein, as well as certain vitamins and minerals, but the cocktail sauce is high in sodium and sugar and shrimp naturally contains some sodium.
