We made it to episode 30. So lets talk “Fruity Vegetables.”
As we close out the month of March 2021 well one more day to go. I was doing some cleaning of my apartment and listening to some of the music of another Spotify List I made of songs from my old radio show of 2007. Below you can find the list of the songs only one not on Spotify is the Song by Elf. Take a look on the YouTube link.
I have a hoover vacuum with clear plastic cannister and it always amazes me or rather intrigues or maybe I just find it bizarrely interesting is the amount of stuff that gets sucked up from the carpet. I am not a dirty dude but man the weirdness of the dust and items that get picked up in the unit is fascinating. Ok enough dirty talk about things that suck.

Events in history of today
1973 – After recording On the Cover of ‘Rolling Stone’, Dr. Hook finally got a group shot on the cover of Jann Wenner’s popular rock magazine. Inside, a Rolling Stone writer confirmed that members of the group (Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show) bought five copies of the mag for their moms — just like in the song’s lyrics!
1987 - Hulk Hogan took 11 minutes, 43 seconds to pin Andre the Giant before 93,136 Wrestlemania III fans at the Silverdome in Pontiac, MI. The event was the biggest indoor sports/entertainment promotion ever. 2.5 million people watched on Pay-Per-View TV, as well.

Let’s look back to January 20, 2007 and the music played on the Sleeping With Stew Saturday night radio program. Special guests that day was The Wanderers, who were promoting their new album. Take A Hard Ride
It was a day of complete chaos but we are here for the music not a show review. Here is a list of the songs played during that show. Catch some of them on the my Spotify playlist January 20, 2007 Music
Below is the complete list of music played, those highlighted will send you to YouTube to catch those songs not available on Spotify.
I recorded one, but the dang thing didn’t post by itself. Apparently I have to do everything around here by myself.
Here is the 26th edition.
I am a sucker for a lists, trivia, history, and “useless” knowledge. The Scholastic Book of Lists by Buckley and Stremmer caught my eye and it inspired me to record some audio about the book and a memory lane of the 13 original colonies. I give you a brief personal history of my own travels in those 13 states. It was fun to reminisce about friends, family, and parts of the country visited by yours truly.
Friday 3-19-21 has made its way into our lives, here is a little bit of audio from yours truly, Stew. A ramble and a recap of the music played on an old episode of Sleeping With Stew Saturday Night Radio Program.
You can listen to these songs on my Spotify Playlist: Sleeping With Stew – January 13. 2007 The Budgie is song is not available there so I put on link to YouTube version.
